Pearl Charlene Lunsford

Pearl Charlene Lunsford, 89, of Malvern passed away August 14, 2015. Charlene was born October 24, 1925 in Malvern to Charlie and Pearl (Wallace) Draper. Charlene loved to garden and loved being a homemaker. Her kids and grandkids hung the moon for her. Charlene always put others before herself and would never let a friend leave hungry. She was never wasteful and always found a way to use the resources she had. She was also a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Charlene is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Clinton Lunsford Sr.; and great-grandson, Hunter Dale Lunsford.

Charlene is survived by sons, Clint Lunsford Jr. (Linda), Daryl Lunsford (Jackie), and Bobby Dale Lunsford; daughter, Addie Pearl Williams (Lloyd) ; sister, Vera Davis (Calvin); step-sister, Edna Lemons Parish (Buck); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Donaldson with Jerry Boyett officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Williams, Robbie Lunsford, Kris Lunsford, Chad Lunsford, and Mike Kelly.
